Terri (Theresa) is a board certified Adult-Geriatric Nurse Practitioner who has been in the medical field for many years. She received her RN diploma from Our Lady of Lourdes Nursing School and Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Rowan University in New Jersey. She then returned back to school to further pursue her career as a Nurse Practitioner graduating with her Master of Science Degree in Nursing in 2016 from Rowan University. She has worked in the hospital setting in the Medical/Surgical, Telemetry, Progressive Care and Cardiac ICU units as a Registered Nurse.
Over the last 6 years, her work as a Nurse Practitioner focused on Geriatric Medicine as well as Internal Medicine in the hospital and rehab setting managing both acute and chronic diseases. After years of treating patients with chronic diseases, Terri’s focus has shifted to an interest in health and wellness and disease prevention. Her interest has also been in both Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Therapy (BHRT) and Aesthetic Medicine. In 2019, she completed training in BHRT. In 2021 she completed a Certificate of Participation at the Aesthetic Medicine Symposium with The International Association for Physicians in Aesthetic Medicine (IAPAM) and continues with ongoing training.
Terri originally grew up on the East Coast in the southern New Jersey area near Philadelphia spending most of her years there. But she decided to leave the cold winters and move to the Phoenix area 5 years ago with her grown children. Since then, her family has expanded to having 2 grandsons, with whom she enjoys spending time. She has made many new friends since living in the Phoenix area and enjoys the sunshine, warm weather and swimming.
Terri is excited to join the team at Tutera Medical because of her desire to help patients achieve a greater sense of well-being through the use of Bioidentical Hormone Therapy.
